Preparing for the Oral Exam: Role-Play Alojamiento

Mock season is upon us, and I know how stressful this time can be. With exams and preparation piling up, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed—but don’t worry, I’ve got your back! Today, I’m sharing my video on Role-Play Alojamiento, part of my early video series designed to help you tackle one of the trickiest parts of the Oral Exam: the Role-Plays.

In this video, you’ll find a simple back-and-forth between “The examiner” and “The candidate,” walking you through the typical questions and answers you can expect in this section of the exam. Role-Play Alojamiento focuses on practicing how to communicate confidently and naturally in a real-life setting. Although Role-Plays might seem intimidating at first, with a bit of preparation, they can become much easier!

These videos were created in the very early days of my teaching career, so please excuse their less-than-perfect production value—but I promise the content is still as useful as ever. Plus, if the exam stress is getting to you, the unexpected appearance of my cats might just brighten your day. (They were very keen to be involved!)
